NSBA’s T+L Conference will focus on creativity and innovation this year. The conference, which will be hosted at Nashville’s Opryland from October 17-19, boasts an impressive agenda highlighting keynote addresses from Lyn Heward, the creative force behind Cirque du Soleil; Dr. Peter Diamandis, the founder and chair of the X Prize Foundation who helped get the first private space craft into orbit; and “education evangelist” and 21st century skills champion, Ian Jukes.
T+L, which stands for Technology + Learning, offers the one-of-a-kind opportunity for all levels of school district staff to come together to explore how new technology tools are effectively used across a district in classrooms, administrative applications, parental engagement, and community outreach to improve student achievement. This year’s conference sessions and speakers have a special focus on creativity and innovation, and demonstrate how that translates to the education world.
